An important part of our remit is to provide quality and affordable housing for the people of Thurles.
Road Transportation & Safety
The council is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of urban roads, streets and footpaths.
North Tipperary County Council is responsible for the provision and maintenance of the National Secondary and Regional routes through the town.
Environmental Protection
We make it our business to keep Thurles beautiful.
In line with this, we employ two Traffic & Litter wardens to enforce and manage parking and litter controls in the town.
